Our Story

We are a local, family-owned business opened in the 60’s by Mr. Red Williams in the same location we are in now! Later in 1980, he sold the business to his nephew and great nephew: Jimmy & Dennis Cauthen. While Jimmy remained a silent partner, his son Dennis ran the business along with his wife Teresa. 

Williams Flooring joined the Carpet One Co-Op in 2001. When Dennis tragically passed away suddenly in 2011, his daughter, Amanda, stepped up to manage the storefront. Eventually, Teresa retired and Amanda purchased the business officially in 2016. Amanda is now our 3rd generation owner, manager, and president of Williams Flooring Carpet One.
